What you will do

• Inspection & Diagnostics: Conduct thorough inspections, diagnose faults, and assess fleet vehicles, plant, and equipment.
• Maintenance & Repairs: Carry out servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Compliance: Ensure all vehicles meet transport legislation and safety standards.
• Fault Analysis: Monitor vehicle performance, identify recurring issues, and recommend improvements.
• Fleet Support: Assist with procurement and replacement planning, providing technical expertise.
• Contractor Liaison: Work with external contractors, ensuring performance standards are met.
• Health & Safety: Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Technical Advice: Provide professional engineering support and advice to internal stakeholders.
• Relevant experience in vehicle engineering, fleet maintenance, or mechanical services.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of transport regulations and health & safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
