Lifeguard

As a Lifeguard, you'll play an important role in ensuring every customer has a safe, enjoyable and positive experience when visiting our centre.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the safety of all swimming customers by providing vigilant lifeguard support.
• Delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
• Meeting and greeting customers and checking them into activities.
• Setting up activity areas and equipment to meet programme requirements.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the centre.

At Trafford Leisure, our Lifeguards play a vital role in helping people stay active safely. They create welcoming environments, support customers of all ages and abilities, and help make our centres places where communities can thrive.

We're looking for a qualified Lifeguard to join our team at Stretford Leisure Centre. Whether you're looking for your next challenge or hoping to build a long-term career within the leisure industry, you'll be joining an organisation with a strong sense of purpose and a genuine commitment to supporting its people.

We know great Lifeguards come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. We are committed to building diverse and inclusive teams where everyone feels welcome, valued and able to thrive.

Why Trafford Leisure?

Trafford Leisure is a community-focused leisure operator and Community Interest Company, delivering sport, physical activity and wellbeing services on behalf of Trafford Council.

Our purpose is simple and powerful: to inspire and create opportunities for the people of Trafford to move more every day and live longer, healthier and happier lives.

As a social enterprise, we reinvest into our facilities, programmes and communities rather than paying shareholders. Everything we do is focused on creating healthier people, stronger communities and greater opportunities for local residents.

We are an ambitious organisation with a clear social purpose, committed to inclusion, innovation, and working collaboratively with partners, communities and colleagues to make a positive difference across Trafford.
