We are looking for a smart, passionate, and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic Sales Team and support our continued business growth. The role is responsible for managing and developing sales activities across the South West region, achieving sales targets, and strengthening relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities within the Pumps Distribution Channel.

What You Will Do

• Achieve sales targets and manage the sales budget within the assigned territory, contributing to the implementation of commercial strategies and action plans.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers within the Pumps Distribution Channel.
• Monitor sales performance, provide accurate short-term sales forecasts, and manage product mix in line with company objectives and market demand.
• Manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate, up-to-date information in the CRM system, including prospects, customers, quotations, and market activities.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor products and promotional strategies, sharing relevant insights with the Marketing Team to support commercial decisions and market positioning.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer requirements and market opportunities to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to support the effective execution of commercial activities and the achievement of business objectives.
• Regularly report on sales performance, market developments, and business opportunities within the assigned territory.

Who You Are

• Experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the Pumps Distribution Channel or a related technical industry.
• Strong commercial mindset, with the ability to manage a sales budget and achieve agreed sales targets.
• Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and build long-term relationships with existing customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret market information and translate it into effective sales actions.
• Proactive, customer-focused, and results-driven approach, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
• Experience selling pumps or other technical products to HVAC and Building Services customers would be considered an advantage.
• Potential to transition from a relevant internal role to an external sales position will also be considered.
