Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We're recruiting for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a major food manufacturing operation in Wrexham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking for a strong salary, a genuine 4-on-4-off shift pattern, and a benefits package that goes well beyond the usual "free parking and a Christmas buffet."

The role

You'll be responsible for responding to breakdowns, carrying out planned and preventative maintenance, and helping to improve the reliability and performance of production equipment.

• 2 x day shifts: 7am-7pm
• 2 x night shifts: 7pm-7am
• 4 days off

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
• Experience working within a manufacturing, FMCG or similar production environment
• A proactive approach to preventative and reactive maintenance
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
• Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent practical experience

£51,000 salary

Plus:

• 4 on 4 off shift pattern
• BUPA healthcare cash plan after successful completion of probation
• 1 x annual salary Death in Service benefit
• Free onsite parking
• Free EV charging
• Reward Gateway benefits platform
• Rewards platform
• Discounted groceries through the onsite Company Shop
• Onsite canteen with free meals
• Free tea and coffee
• Pension: 5% employee / 3% employer contributions within minimum thresholds
• Salary Exchange available
• Optional AVCs

Why make the move?

If you're an engineer who wants excellent earning potential without sacrificing your time off, this is a particularly attractive shift pattern. Four days on followed by four days off gives you a genuine block of time away from work, while the £51k+ salary and wider benefits package make this a strong opportunity for experienced engineers looking for their next move.

Location: Wrexham

Salary: £51,000

Shift: 4 on 4 off, 2 days / 2 nights

Hours: 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am

If you're a skilled Multi-skilled Engineer ready for a new challenge, this could be the move you've been waiting for.
