We’re currently looking for an Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing team in Sheffield. The role will involve working on a range of residential and commercial development projects, with a focus on highways and drainage design.
Key responsibilities:
Designing highways and drainage infrastructure for residential and commercial developments
Designing drainage systems, including SuDS
Highway design including S38, S278 and S104
External works and site level design
Preparing technical drawings and schedules
Working with clients, consultants and other project team members
Managing your own workload and working to project deadlines
Supporting and mentoring junior engineers where required
Working towards Chartered status where applicable
Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject
Experience in infrastructure design
Experience with residential development projects
Strong highways and drainage design experience
Experience with S38, S278 and S104
Experience using software such as AutoCAD, PDS, Site3D, FLOW and MicroDrainage/Windes
Chartered or working towards Chartered status with ICE is desirable
