Pay Rate: £13.47 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract: Full-Time Permanent

About the Role

Kingdom Group is looking for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Hemlington Express, TS8 9JH .

We are seeking an experienced Security Officer who takes pride in their work, demonstrates excellent timekeeping, and can provide a highly visible security presence within the store. This role would particularly suit a local candidate who can reliably travel to site and contribute positively to the store team.

As a key member of the security team, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service.

Shift Pattern

You will work 40 hours per week on a rota covering Monday to Sunday .

Shift Time:

• 14:00 to 22:00

Working 5 to 6 days per week as required by the business.

Flexibility may be required to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a professional and highly visible security presence within the store.
• Deter theft, anti-social behaviour, and other security-related incidents.
• Conduct regular patrols of the store and surrounding areas.
• Respond to incidents professionally and in line with company procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service to customers and colleagues.
• Monitor CCTV systems where applicable.
• Complete accurate incident reports and relevant documentation.
• Support store management with loss prevention initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at all times.

What We're Looking For

A valid SIA Licence is essential.

• Previous retail security experience is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, confident, and reliable approach.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Local candidates are preferred due to the shift pattern and operational requirements.
