Pay: £13.47 per hour
Hours: 0-35 Hours Per Week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday

Shift Times

• Early Shift: 07:00 - 15:00
• Late Shift: 15:00 - 23:00 / Midnight (depending on store)

About The Role

Kingdom Group, a trusted partner to Tesco, is looking for a professional and reliable Retail Security Officer to provide relief cover across multiple Tesco stores in the Peterborough area. This flexible role involves covering holidays, sickness, and other absences across a number of Tesco locations. You will play an important role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, colleagues, and store assets while delivering excellent customer service and acting as a visible security presence.

Store Locations Covered

• Tesco Stanground Express, PE2 8RJ
• Peterborough Tesco, PE7 8BD
• Peterborough Express, PE1 1TA
• Paston Express, PE4 7DH
• Werrington Express, PE4 6NA
• Market Deeping Express, PE6 8UD

Due to travel between stores, own transport is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols throughout the store
• Act as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
• Monitor and respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Complete accurate reports and maintain incident records
• Monitor CCTV systems where authorised
• Support store management and colleagues as required
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers when needed
• Protect customers, colleagues, and company assets

What We're Looking For

• Valid SIA Licence
• Own vehicle and full driving licence
• Full 5-year checkable work history
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional, reliable, and confident approach
• Good attention to detail and sound judgement
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Previous security experience desirable but not essential
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service
