Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable main dealership located in Stevenage. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Vehicle Technicians seeking to advance their careers within a professional, modern environment. The role of Vehicle Technician is pivotal in maintaining the dealership's reputation for quality and exceptional service.

• Competitive basic salary of up to £32,000 as a Vehicle Technician
• Realistic OTE of £50,000
• Monday to Friday working hours, 8am - 5.30pm
• Rotating Saturday shift (1 in 4)

Duties:

• Conducting vehicle service checks and repairs
• Performing diagnostics to identify faults
• Undertaking vehicle road tests to ensure quality standards
• Maintaining the dealership's high standards of professionalism and service
• Working within company guidelines and procedures
• Assisting colleagues with technical advice and support
• Supporting continuous improvement through participation in training programmes

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Full UK driving licence
• Confident in carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality service
• Supportive attitude towards colleagues and customers
• MOT licence and EV qualifications are advantageous, but not mandatory
