Milk Education | Liverpool City Centre HQ

Experienced Recruiter and looking for something more?

We're growing our Education Recruitment team in Liverpool and I'm looking to speak with experienced recruiters who are ready for their next challenge.

Ideally, you'll have a background in fast paced temporary recruitment , where you're used to building relationships, winning business, managing a busy desk and working in a commercially driven environment.

Education recruitment experience is a huge advantage, but I'm also open to conversations with strong recruiters from other sectors who have the drive, confidence and commercial hunger to succeed.

At Milk Education, we're more than just a recruitment agency. We're a growing, independent business with a clear purpose, strong values and a genuine focus on the people, schools and communities we work with.

We have opportunities across Primary, Secondary and SEND , with some roles offering the benefit of warm desks, established relationships and strong foundations to build from .

This means you won't necessarily be starting from scratch. You'll have the opportunity to hit the ground running, develop your market, grow your revenue and put your own stamp on your desk .

We're looking for someone who is passionate about recruitment and making an impact for schools, but who also brings the drive, fire and hunger to succeed .

Someone who wants to build great relationships, make things happen and see just how far they can take their career.

Why Milk Education?

We're a proudly independent education recruitment business doing things differently.

In a short time, we've grown from 4 offices to 9 nationwide , with more than 150 people across the business , and we're still growing.

But growth isn't everything.

We're passionate about creating a business where people feel supported, challenged and genuinely excited about what they're building.

From our dedicated Learning & Development team and Trainee Academy to our Make Life Kind charity and Unbottled initiative, we're committed to creating a business that has an impact beyond recruitment.

We want our people to have the tools, support and opportunities to build careers they're proud of.

The Role

As a Senior Principal Consultant , you'll take ownership of your market and play an important role within our growing Liverpool team.

Depending on the opportunity, you'll have the chance to work across Primary, Secondary or SEND , with some roles offering the benefit of an established, warm desk.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and growing strong client relationships.
  • Building long term partnerships with schools and candidates.
  • Winning new business and growing your market.
  • Sourcing, interviewing and placing education professionals.
  • Managing the full 360 recruitment process.
  • Growing revenue and maximising the potential of your desk.
  • Delivering an exceptional service to schools and candidates.
  • Sharing knowledge and supporting the wider team.
  • Continuing to develop your own skills and career.

We're looking for someone with recruitment experience, commercial drive and ambition .

Someone who isn't afraid to pick up the phone, build relationships, chase opportunities and make things happen.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the fire and hunger to succeed .

We don't want you to simply come in, bill and stay on the same path.

We want to understand where you want your career to go and give you the opportunity to build towards it.

For the right person, there's a clear progression pathway from Recruitment Consultant through to Principal Consultant and into leadership .

As you progress, you'll have the opportunity to take on more responsibility, support and develop other consultants, share best practice and add value beyond your own desk.

Ultimately, if leadership is where you want to go, there's the opportunity to build and manage your own team .

Your success doesn't have to stop at your own billing.

What You'll Get

  • Competitive commission structure and Big Biller bonuses.
  • Warm desk opportunities with existing relationships.
  • Clear career progression with no glass ceiling.
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, birthday and charity days.
  • Flexible working with up to 3 Empowering Days per month.
  • Industry leading recruitment technology.
  • Online GP and critical illness cover.
  • Personal and professional Learning and Development.
  • Wellness initiatives.
  • Friday early finishes, office dogs and a great team environment.
  • Free mortgage advice.
  • Two major company wide events each year.
  • Regular team socials and plenty going on outside of recruitment.
