Senior Digital Marketing Executive - PPC & Analytics

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Digital Marketing Executive to join a growing digital agency, managing paid media campaigns and performance tracking across a varied portfolio of SME clients.

This is a delivery-focused role with a particular emphasis on Google Search Ads and conversion tracking. You'll take ownership of existing client accounts, manage and optimise campaigns, and ensure the tracking behind them is set up accurately.

You'll also work across Meta Ads and wider digital marketing activity, collaborating with SEO, content and web development colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns, with a strong focus on Search.
• Audit existing PPC accounts and identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Manage keywords, search terms, negative keywords, bidding strategies, budgets and ad copy.
• Monitor campaign performance against CPA, conversions, ROAS and wider client objectives.
• Set up and manage conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager and GA4.
• Configure tags, triggers, events and conversions across client websites and campaigns.
• Troubleshoot tracking issues and ensure conversion data is accurate and reliable.
• Manage and optimise Meta Ads campaigns.
• Produce clear performance reporting and translate data into practical recommendations for clients.
• Support landing-page optimisation, CRO and A/B testing.
• Work directly with clients to discuss campaign performance, strategy and improvements.
• Collaborate with SEO, content and web development teams across wider client projects.

What we’re looking for

• Strong hands‑on experience managing Google Ads/Search campaigns.
• Practical experience with Google Tag Manager and GA4, including setting up and troubleshooting conversion tracking.
• Experience managing paid media budgets and optimising against commercial KPIs.
• Hands‑on Meta Ads experience.
• Good understanding of digital analytics, attribution and conversion measurement.
• Comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn performance data into recommendations.
• Confident communicating directly with clients.
• Agency or multi‑client experience would be particularly beneficial.

Desirable experience

• Looker Studio/reporting dashboards.
• SEO and content optimisation.
• CRO and landing-page optimisation.
• Google Shopping, Performance Max, Display or Merchant Centre.
• Ecommerce campaigns.
• Marketing automation and AI tools.

This would suit someone who enjoys being hands‑on with campaigns and data, rather than moving away from delivery into pure strategy or management. You’ll have autonomy over your accounts and the opportunity to work across a varied client base while continuing to develop your wider digital marketing expertise
