This is an opportunity to make a real impact, driving operational performance, improving processes and creating a positive culture where people and performance go hand in hand.

About us:

Company Shop Group is the UK's largest commercial redistributor of surplus food and household products. We work with some of the biggest retailers, manufacturers, food service and logistics providers to unlock value from surplus stock that might otherwise go to waste.

• Managing resources and costs – planning labour, managing temporary colleagues and budgets, and ensuring the right people are in the right place to meet business demands.
• Developing your team – coaching, mentoring and supporting colleagues, identifying skills gaps and putting development plans in place.
• Managing performance – setting clear expectations and addressing performance, conduct and employee relations matters in line with company procedures.
• Delivering effective communication – leading daily review meetings, completing robust shift handovers and ensuring actions are followed through.
• Working collaboratively – building strong relationships across the wider business to ensure supply chain demands are met.
• Taking ownership – acting as the senior manager on site outside normal working hours when required in an emergency.
