Litigation Solicitor - Bromsgrove

An established and highly regarded legal practice is seeking to appoint a Litigation Solicitor to join its growing Litigation team at its Bromsgrove office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified Solicitor or Solicitor with up to 2 years' PQE who is looking to develop their career within a varied and client-focused litigation environment.

You will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of contentious matters, including civil litigation and employment law, while managing your own caseload and developing strong, long-term relationships with clients.

The Role

The successful Litigation Solicitor will be responsible for:

• Managing an independent caseload of contentious matters from instruction through to resolution
• Handling a varied range of civil litigation, employment and dispute resolution matters
• Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
• Working closely with colleagues across the wider legal team
• Managing competing priorities and working effectively to tight deadline
• Maintaining high standards of client care and professional service
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures
• Using internal systems effectively and maintaining accurate case records
• Contributing positively to the continued development and success of the Litigation team

About You

The firm is looking for a professional and client-focused Litigation Solicitor who can demonstrate:

• Qualification as a Solicitor, ideally at NQ to 2 years' PQE
• Relevant experience within litigation, civil litigation, employment law and/or dispute resolution
• The ability to manage a caseload with appropriate levels of autonomy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A professional, friendly and reassuring approach when dealing with clients
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A strong commitment to client service and achieving positive outcomes
• Confidence working within a regulated legal environment and adhering to compliance requirements, policies and internal procedures
