The Person:
Strong leadership and people management skills
A true passion for Health and Fitness
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to perform under pressure and multi-task
A solid understanding of health and safety regulations
Proven experience as a Fitness Manager or a similar role
REPS Level 3 Qualified
Experience of managing a group exercise schedule
Ability to teach a number of different classes
Strong Personal Training experience
The Role:
Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring all customers queries are dealt with in an efficient manner
Ability to recruit, develop and lead a strong team within Fitness team
Manage the daily operations and contribute to the smooth running of the gym floor
Monitor and ensure compliance achieved for Health and Safety standards
Overseeing the financial performance of the fitness department by managing budgets and controlling costs effectively
Provide manager presence throughout the whole health club, particularly in the absence of club manager
Ensure the group exercise timetable is kept up to date with new trends
