Export Account Manager

***EXPORT ACCOUNT MANAGER***
We're recruiting for an Export Account Manager with solid Excel skills to join a busy Export team, managing a portfolio of international customers and coordinating orders, suppliers, logistics and documentation from start to finish.
This is a varied Export Account Manager role where no two days are quite the same. You'll be juggling customer requirements, purchase and sales orders, freight bookings and export paperwork, so being organised, proactive and able to prioritise is key.
Salary £27-30K depending on experience.
Key responsibilities for the Export Account Manager include,

• Managing sales orders from initial receipt through to delivery and customer claims
• Processing purchase orders, including supplier claims and uplifts
• Booking sea freight and liaising with freight forwarders to ensure shipments meet tight deadlines
• Working closely with customers, suppliers and internal departments to keep the supply chain moving
• Building and maintaining strong international customer relationships through excellent service
• Preparing and processing customs and export documentation, including DGN, certificates and licences
• Creating invoices, collection notes, schedules and other supporting documentation
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring paperwork is completed and filed correctlyKeeping an eye on deadlines and priorities to ensure customers receive the service they expect

The ideal Export Account Manager will need,

• Excellent Excel skills and good working knowledge of Word and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail - accuracy really matters in this role!
• Excellent organisation and the ability to multitask and prioritise
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• A strong customer-service mindset
• The ability to take ownership and be accountable for your work
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across different departments
• Previous experience with export documentation and processes would be highly desirable
• Full training will be provided on the company's in-house export system

What's on offer?

• £27,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
• 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Set working hours during probation, with flexible hours thereafter

This role would suit an organised Export Account Manager or Export Administrator with excellent attention to detail, strong Excel skills and a genuine desire to provide great customer service.
