Client Operations Executive – Temporary

Are you highly organised, commercially minded and genuinely confident with Excel?

KMK Recruitment are looking for a Client Operations Executive to join a consultancy based in the City on a temporary basis.

This is a hands‑on, varied role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, working directly with clients and suppliers, and making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

This is not a traditional admin role. You’ll have genuine responsibility for client activity, operational processes and the financial administration behind the service.

The Role

You’ll be a key point of contact for clients and suppliers, managing activity throughout the client lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing client onboarding and operational workflows from start to finish
• Building strong relationships with clients and suppliers by email and telephone
• Preparing quotations, savings schedules and invoices using Excel
• Processing invoicing and commission accurately and in real time
• Managing queries and taking ownership through to resolution
• Maintaining accurate records, systems and documentation
• Working closely with the wider team to ensure a seamless client service
• Identifying issues, solving problems and finding ways to improve processes

About You

We’re looking for someone who is bright, organised, numerate and commercially aware , with the confidence to take ownership and work proactively.

You’ll ideally have:

• Strong practical Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivots and structured templates
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy
• Confidence communicating with clients and suppliers at all levels
• Experience within a small, entrepreneurial or fast-paced business
• A proactive, hands‑on approach and the ability to work independently
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• The ability to work at pace without compromising accuracy
