Job Title : Heating Engineer

Location : Malton, North Yorkshire

Salary : £30,000 - £40,000 per annum + Overtime + Company Van

Hours : Full time, permanent. 40 hours per week, plus a weekend rota.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Heating Engineer looking for a more organised, stable and well supported role.

We're working with a well established and reputable business in Malton, known for delivering high quality installation, servicing and maintenance work. With a strong and consistent pipeline of work, they are continuing to grow and are now looking to add to their engineering team.

The role offers a well planned workload, sensible scheduling and the support of an experienced office team, allowing you to focus on doing the job properly without unnecessary disruption.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out the installation, servicing and maintenance of heating systems including gas appliances. Experience with LPG and oil systems is desirable.
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to customers.
Deliver both planned maintenance and reactive repair work to a high standard.
Ensure all work is completed in line with current health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Maintain accurate job records and compliance documentation.

Experience Required

Proven experience working as a Heating Engineer.
Valid gas qualifications are essential; oil and LPG qualifications are desirable. Gas Safe registration is preferred.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong fault finding and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with a customer focused approach.
