A consultancy developing life-saving medical devices is looking for an embedded software engineer with 2-5 years of experience who wants to move to a low-level, design-focused role.
This company works on the whole lifecycle, so you'll get a significant degree of ownership & influence over design decisions.
Responsibilities
Developing high-quality, well-documented software
Working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
Participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from requirements capture through to verification and release
Client-facing communication with technical & non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or comp sci
2-5 years of commercial software development in C and/or C++
Embedded and real-time experience using an RTOS or bare metal
Working knowledge of Python, and experience with Git for version control
Desirable
Hardware design appreciation, or experience working closely with hardware
Embedded Linux experience
Familiarity with medical software development standards like 62304 or 60601
