A leading organisation based in Nottingham is seeking a Financial Accountant to support business-as-usual finance operations during a period of system transformation. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join a collaborative finance team on a 6 month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
Perform reconciliations to support monthly and quarterly financial reporting
Manage quarter-end reporting processes for both UK and US entities
Work with large volumes of data, primarily using Excel
Support the implementation of a new finance system where capacity allows
Key Requirements
Strong Excel skills, confident handling formulas and large datasets
Solid experience with reconciliations and general ledger processes
Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is advantageous
Background in a complex finance environment (e.g., regulated or multi-entity)
Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) preferred, though not essential
