Location: Bradford Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 + Uncapped Commission (DOE) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm

The Opportunity

A growing and successful business based in Bradford is looking to recruit an ambitious New Business Sales Executive to join its expanding commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven salesperson who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and winning new business. The company is open to candidates from a variety of industries and sales backgrounds. Your ability to generate revenue, develop new client relationships and achieve targets is far more important than the sector you have worked in.

The Role

As a New Business Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and converting new business opportunities, managing a pipeline of prospects and taking ownership of the sales process from initial contact through to closing the deal.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively contact prospective customers through a mixture of warm and cold leads.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with potential clients and understand their requirements.
• Arrange and attend appointments with prospective customers.
• Prepare and issue quotations.
• Follow up on quotations and convert opportunities into new business.
• Manage and progress leads through the sales pipeline.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity.
• Work towards agreed sales targets and KPIs.
• Attend sales meetings and provide updates on performance and pipeline activity.
• Take ownership of the full sales cycle through to successful conversion.

About You

• At least 3 years' experience in a sales environment.
• Strong new business development experience.
• Confidence making a high volume of outbound calls.
• A proven track record of generating and winning new business.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, resilient and target-driven approach.
• Experience working towards KPIs and revenue targets.
• Strong pipeline management and follow-up skills.
• The ambition and determination to exceed expectations and maximise earnings.
