NEOS Engineering are working with a well‑known OEM who are looking to add a fitter around Barnsley/Doncaster. This is a great opportunity for a Plant Fitter who wants to develop their knowledge and skillset while working directly with a main manufacturer.
The Role:
Service, maintenance and repair of ADTs and heavy plant machinery
Mechanical and electrical fault finding and diagnostics
Working on diesel engines, hydraulic systems and associated components
Inspecting and preparing machinery for use
Working alongside the wider engineering team to ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard
Manufacturer training provided on ADTs and associated machinery
The Candidate:
Experience working on Construction Plant, Agricultural, Quarrying or similar machinery
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Construction Plant Maintenance, Agricultural Engineering or similar
Experience with hydraulics, diesel engines and fault finding
Full UK Driving Licence
Keen to develop their skills and receive manufacturer training
Comfortable working in a workshop/depot environment
