Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of structural systems for various building types
• Prepare structural calculations and design reports
• Produce technical drawings and specifications
• Conduct structural inspections and assessments
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other consultants
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and standards
• Mentor junior staff and apprentices

Requirements

• BEng/MEng in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards chartership
• Minimum 3-5 years structural engineering experience
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (Tekla, Robot, etc.)
• Knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Valid UK driving licence
