Paid Media Manager

We're looking for a social-native Paid Media expert to join our marketing team.

Are you a strategist who lives for the fast-paced, creative-led world of paid social? We're looking for a Paid Media Manager who understands how content and commerce collide. We need someone who can move between the creative pulse of Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and Snapchat and the technical foundation of Google Ads. You won't just be buying media; you'll be a growth partner, taking high-growth Shopify stores and scaling them through full-funnel social strategies. This role reports directly into the Paid Media Director.

What You’ll Do

• Paid Media Strategy: Manage and create paid media strategies across a range of clients in your portfolio, ensuring we're achieving the clients' goals and hitting core KPIs.
• Full-Funnel Marketing: Manage the full funnel across multiple platforms, driving brand awareness and maximising sales with conversion activity.
• Search and Social Together: We believe a Paid Media Manager should manage all aspects of paid media for their clients. You'll be comfortable with both paid search and paid social.
• Platform Management: Conduct optimisations and campaign changes in line with your strategy, maximising performance across all areas and platforms.
• Media Planning and Budget Pacing: Build an effective media plan and pace performance and budget accordingly.
• Creative Collaboration: Report on and understand how ad creative is performing, and provide clear feedback to our creative strategy team.
• Comfortable with Data: Forecast and report effectively on performance for your clients, using both in-platform data and external reporting tools.
• Platform Pioneer: Stay ahead of the curve. Whether it's testing a new Reddit ad placement or exploring Pinterest Trends, you'll ensure our clients have the first-mover advantage.

About You

• You Dig Deeper: You delve into the data across platforms and Shopify, understand customer buying journeys, and leverage those insights to craft first-class paid media strategies.
• Social Native: You understand the nuance of different platforms, their audiences and best practices, and plan accordingly. You keep on top of trends.
• Creatively Analytical: You can think creatively and analytically, building well-rounded approaches for clients while giving the creative team feedback they can act on.
• A Confident Communicator: You're comfortable communicating internally with the wider team and speaking to business owners about performance effectively.
• Technically Minded: You understand how tracking set-ups work, have familiarity with feed management, and can handle the technical side of campaign and account set-up.
• Passionately Curious: You explore different options, you're keen to test, and you ask questions.
• Flexible: You can manage both smaller and larger budgets, and you enjoy working across different industries and niches.

Skills / Qualities

• 2+ years of Agency Experience: Proven experience managing multiple eCommerce accounts in a fast-paced environment.
• Mastery of Meta Ads Manager: Deep knowledge of scaling Facebook and Instagram via manual and automated bidding.
• TikTok and Pinterest Expertise: Experience building and optimising campaigns specifically for these high-growth platforms.
• Google Ads Foundation: You're comfortable running Search, Shopping and PMax campaigns to support your social efforts, and can report and provide feedback on campaign performance.
• Reporting Excellence: High proficiency in GA4 and other eCommerce reporting tools to tell the full story of the customer journey.
• Loves a Google Sheet: Confident and comfortable with Google Sheets, formulas and formatting.

Plus Points

• Technical Tracking: Experience with Google Tag Manager or server-side tracking.
• Influencer / Whitelisting: Experience running Spark Ads or whitelisting campaigns via creator accounts.
