Service Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 + Company Vehicle + Paid Accommodation + Daily Allowance

Location: Field Based | Nationwide Travel

We are recruiting for a Service Engineer to join a specialist engineering business operating across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and working independently at customer sites.

The role will involve planned maintenance, equipment testing, inspections and repairs on a range of electromechanical safety systems. Full product training will be provided.

The Role

Carrying out planned service and maintenance activities at customer sites
Diagnosing mechanical faults and replacing components where required
Testing cables and identifying basic electrical faults
Supporting system testing and commissioning activities
Completing service reports and compliance documentation
Working safely at height using access equipment
Travelling throughout the UK and staying away when required

What We're Looking For

Mechanical fault finding and repair experience
Experience working on industrial or electromechanical equipment
Basic electrical testing and fault diagnosis skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel nationwide
