Technical Recruiter

We're looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our team in Newcastle, United Kingdom in a hybrid working mode.In this role, you will focus on sourcing and hiring technical professionals across Data Analytics & AI, AI Engineering and Enterprise/Cloud Architecture. You will partner with hiring managers and work closely with a Lead Recruiter to support EPAM’s rapidly expanding Data & AI practice within an AI-native consulting environment.You will drive recruitment strategies, develop proactive talent pipelines and leverage modern recruitment methodologies, including AI-driven sourcing, to identify and engage top-tier technical talent. This position offers an opportunity to directly influence EPAM’s growth by attracting exceptional engineering professionals for transformative technology initiatives.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sourcing strategies to attract niche technical talent in Data Analytics, AI Engineering and Cloud ArchitectureUtilize Boolean search techniques, job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter and AI-enabled tools to build and maintain talent pipelinesConduct technical screening and assessments based on understanding of software engineering principles, the SDLC and cloud infrastructuresPartner with hiring managers to analyse staffing needs, define ideal candidate profiles and create effective recruiting strategiesManage full-cycle recruitment processes across multiple technical roles while ensuring a high-quality candidate experienceMaintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system and provide regular updates on hiring metricsCollaborate with internal teams to align recruitment delivery with business prioritiesSupport employer branding, recruitment campaigns and community engagement initiativesStay informed about industry and labour market trends in Data Analytics, Cloud Engineering and AI talent spacesEnsure all recruitment activities comply with internal hiring policies, data protection and regulatory standardsRequirements1–2 years of experience in technology recruitment, preferably hiring Data, AI, Cloud or Engineering professionalsDemonstrated experience recruiting for technical roles across Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Cloud or ArchitectureSolid understanding of software engineering concepts, SDLC processes and modern cloud technology stacksProven sourcing skills, including Boolean search, networking, direct sourcing and passive candidate engagementExperience using AI tools to enhance sourcing efficiency and recruitment workflowsExcellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management abilitiesHands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment analyticsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions efficientlyAnalytical mindset to evaluate metrics and continuously improve recruitment performanceAbility to succeed in a fast-paced, hybrid and team-oriented environmentNice to haveExperience recruiting for consulting, commercial or IT services roles in a technology organization or agency environmentWe offerEPAM Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Protection benefits including life assurance, income protection and critical illness coverPrivate medical insurance and dental careEmployee Assistance ProgramCompetitive group pension planCyclescheme, Techscheme and season ticket loansVarious perks such as free Wednesday lunch in-office, on-site massages and regular social eventsLearning and development opportunities including in-house training and coaching, professional certifications, and coursesIf otherwise eligible, participation in the discretionary annual bonus programIf otherwise eligible and hired into a qualifying level, participation in the discretionary Long-Term Incentive (LTI) Program
