Justteachers is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join an SEN school in the area Salford to cover on a Long-term basis. The full-time post is due to start In October 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in their learning and development.
Providing 1:1 and group support to students with SEND, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
Assisting the class teacher in implementing tailored education plans.
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment to help students achieve their potential.
Pre-requisites:
Relevant qualifications in education or SEND support.
Proven experience supporting students with SEND.
Strong knowledge of behaviour management strategies and inclusive teaching approaches.
Two education or school-based references.

A clear enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
