Sales Engineer Birmingham £45,000 - £50,000 + Commission + Training + Progression

Earn commission selling high-value machinery and complete production lines while taking ownership of a large territory. This Sales Engineer position offers you the chance to cover a regional patch of your choice, giving you real autonomy and the chance to build something of your own with full technical support behind you.

You'd be working for a stable well established engineering business that supplies specialist automated machinery and complete solutions to manufacturers across the UK. The company is investing in its sales team as part of ambitious growth plans, giving the successful Sales Engineer a genuine opportunity to make an impact and develop alongside the business.

You will receive extensive product training and day-to-day support from experienced technical and management teams when you join. You will be given the time to understand the equipment, market and sales process before working independently, meaning the Sales Engineer can confidently develop new business without being left to figure everything out alone.

Your Role as a Sales Engineer Will Include:

• Generating new machinery sales across the Midlands and North
• Visiting factories to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions
• Selling individual machines and complete automated production lines

The Successful Sales Engineer Will Need:

• Technical sales or business development experience
• Experience with packaging, automation or related industrial machinery
• Confidence developing new business and managing customer relationships
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the territory
