What you’ll be doing as a Senior Administrator:

Act as a first point of contact for parents, pupils, visitors and external agencies, delivering a professional, welcoming and efficient reception service
Provide high-quality administrative support to the school, including managing records, correspondence, calendars, pupil information, attendance data, onboarding processes and general office administration
Support internal and external communications by managing inboxes, drafting correspondence, distributing newsletters and updates, and ensuring enquiries are responded to promptly and professionally
Maintain accurate pupil and school records, support reporting requirements, coordinate statutory and compliance-related administration, and ensure data is handled in accordance with GDPR and school procedures
Assist with the organisation of meetings, training, school events and parents' evenings, while managing office supplies, processing administrative finance tasks and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school

What we’re looking for:

GCSE or equivalent qualifications, to include English and maths
Strong administration experience
Excellent ICT skills including effective use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Able to work under pressure
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritise workload

Who are we?

Established in 2018, Oakbridge School is an independent special day school in Birmingham with a specially designed learning environment created to meet the needs of autistic children. In November 2025, Oakbridge School moved into its newly developed site in Handsworth Wood, further enhancing our specialist facilities and educational provision. We provide a calm, low arousal, safe, positive and nurturing place where young people can learn and grow.

Oakbridge School is part of Kedleston Group. We specialise in providing specialist education for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
