Trainee Property Manager - Shrewsbury

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity to start a career within Residential and Block Property Management, joining a well-established national property consultancy based from their Shrewsbury office.

No previous property management experience is required. This is a genuine trainee position where you'll receive full training, ongoing support and the opportunity to gain recognised professional qualifications while developing into a Property Manager.

You’ll work alongside an experienced team and gradually take responsibility for a varied portfolio of residential developments across Shropshire, including RMCs, freeholder clients and some PRS developments.

What You’ll Learn

• Carrying out property inspections and producing reports
• Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance
• Working with and managing contractors
• Assisting with service charge budgets and client accounts
• Supporting building and Directors & Officers insurance matters
• Attending AGMs, EGMs, Directors' and residents' meetings
• Communicating with leaseholders, freeholders and clients
• Understanding leases and dealing with potential breaches
• Supporting property sales and assignments of leases
• Handling correspondence, administration and customer enquiries
• Learning relevant property legislation, compliance and industry best practice
• As your knowledge and confidence develop, you'll take increasing responsibility for your own portfolio.

Salary, Training & Progression

The starting package is £27,500 basic salary + £3,600 car allowance.

Full training will be provided, alongside support towards relevant professional qualifications such as TPI.

Once qualified, salary is be reviewed.
