We are currently recruiting for aHome Manager in Herne Bay to take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of a warm, welcoming and well-established residential care home.

The Role

AsHome Manager , you will take overall responsibility for the operational leadership and day-to-day management of the home.

You will lead an established team, ensuring that residents receive consistently high-quality care while maintaining a positive, supportive and well‑organised working environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, motivating and developing the care team
• Creating and maintaining a positive, resident-focused culture
• Ensuring consistently high standards of person-centred care
• Maintaining full compliance with CQC and regulatory requirements
• Overseeing care planning, audits and quality assurance
• Monitoring and maintaining high standards across the service
• Managing recruitment, staffing and rotas
• Supporting and developing staff through effective leadership
• Building strong and trusting relationships with residents and their families
• Working closely with healthcare professionals and other external stakeholders
• Supporting occupancy and maintaining the home’s strong local reputation
• Ensuring the home remains a safe, welcoming and positive place to live and work

About You

We are looking for an experienced care professional who combinesstrong leadership with genuine compassion .

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager
• Experience within a residential elderly care setting
• A strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
• A confident, approachable and supportive leadership style
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to motivate, lead and develop a team
• Experience managing staffing, rotas and day-to-day operations
• Commercial awareness, including an understanding of occupancy
• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
