Salary: Starting salary £70,000 gross per annum rising to £75,000 after a successful probationary period.
Children: Three children, aged 11, 9 and 6

This busy family are looking for an experienced, professional, and engaging Retainer Nanny with a mature approach, to work on a retainer basis caring for three children (February 2015, March 2017, October 2020).

The role will require the nanny to be available to cover any sickness as well as holiday cover for the children's Rota Nannies.

The Retainer Nanny who joins this family needs to have experience with children of similar ages. Experience of SEN is also desirable for this role, specifically with children who have ASC and ADHD. They need to be very happy to be flexible and able to adapt easily, ensuring that consistency of care for the children is never compromised.

The Nanny will need to have excellent organisational, communication and teamwork skills – there is a lot of autonomy in the role and so it is essential that the Nanny is confident to work on their own initiative as well as working as part of the nanny team and alongside other staff members within the household.

A Nanny who has experience of working in a rota / retainer position previously would be advantageous. This is a fully staffed household so the main focus is on caring for the children. During school hours the Retainer Nanny will be expected to keep up with administrative duties and planning for evenings, weekends and holidays.

Accommodation comprises own bedroom and bathroom either within the family home or within the nanny apartment.

The Retainer Nanny needs to be happy to travel as there is travel both to Europe and internationally during the school holidays.
