Choice Teachers are currently working with a secondary school in Harrow who are seeking an enthusiastic and confident PE Teacher to join their department on a full-time basis after the October half term.

The timetable will consist of approximately 75% Physical Education and 25% PSHE , making this an excellent opportunity for a PE Teacher, Physical Education Teacher or Teacher of PE who is also comfortable delivering PSHE lessons.

The position will initially run until at least Christmas , with the possibility of continuing beyond this depending on the school's requirements.

An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is essential for this position.

About the PE Teacher Role

• Teach approximately 75% PE and 25% PSHE
• Deliver engaging and practical PE lessons across the secondary age range
• Teach a variety of sports and physical education activities
• Deliver structured PSHE lessons as part of the timetable
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons where required
• Encourage participation and positive attitudes towards physical activity
• Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management
• Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during practical PE lessons
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the PE department
• Full-time timetable, Monday to Friday
