Protocol Education is recruiting a Graduate Pastoral Teaching Assistant to work in a school in Hexham , supporting pupils with their learning, behaviour, confidence and wellbeing.

It's an ideal role for graduates who are considering a future career working with children, young people, psychology, education, mental health or SEND.

What Will Your Day Look Like?

Every day will be different, but you could be:

• Supporting a pupil 1:1
• Working with small groups
• Helping pupils manage emotions
• Encouraging positive behaviour
• Supporting classroom learning
• Building pupils' confidence
• Helping students communicate effectively
• Supporting independence
• Developing positive relationships
• Working alongside teachers and pastoral staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
