What You'll Be Doing
Offering a 3 course menu in the restaurant for up to 22 daily covers, and supporting the on site Café.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
Operating kitchen equipment safely
Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
Working as part of a supportive catering team to ensure smooth service
Requirements
Previous experience as a cook / chef in a care home or residential setting.
Commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards - will can offer Food Hygiene and Food Allergen assessment.
A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude with good communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility and willingness to support the wider team
NVQ Catering, Level 2 Food Hygiene and working experience of Food Allergens and special diets.As the role is based within a care home setting, all candidates must be willing to complete pre employment vetting to include :
