We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to join our team and work across our fantastic partnership secondary schools in Doncaster .

Whether you're looking for the flexibility of day-to-day supply , want to get stuck into a short-term assignment , or are searching for a long-term opportunity , we've got something for you!

What will you be doing?

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be the friendly face at the front of the classroom, helping keep students engaged and learning when their usual teacher is unavailable.

Your day could include:

• Supervising classes and delivering pre-prepared work
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Ensuring students complete the work set by their teacher
• Supporting and encouraging students with their learning
• Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns
• Working across a variety of secondary schools and year groups
• Building positive relationships with students and school staff
• Adapting to different classrooms, subjects and school environments

What are we looking for?

We're looking for people who have the right attitude, confidence and ability to connect with young people .

Ideally, you will have:

• Experience working with children or young people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong classroom management and behaviour-management skills
• The confidence to lead a classroom independently
• A calm, patient and positive approach
• The ability to follow lesson plans and school instructions
• Reliability, flexibility and a professional attitude
• A genuine desire to support young people and their education

Previous school experience is a bonus, but we're happy to consider candidates from a range of backgrounds. If you've worked in youth settings, coaching, tutoring, education, childcare, mentoring or similar roles, we'd love to hear from you!
