We are recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school near Guildford, Surrey.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated team committed to helping pupils thrive in a supportive and therapeutic learning environment.
Please note: Due to the school's rural location, applicants must have their own transport.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting pupils with complex mental health needs and additional learning needs.
Working closely with teachers and therapists, you'll help create a calm, structured environment where students can feel safe, develop confidence, and achieve their individual goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing one-to-one and small group support throughout the school day.
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation using consistent approaches.
Supporting pupils across a range of key stages with both academic and personal development.
Working collaboratively with the wider school team to deliver tailored learning and wellbeing support.
The school offers small class sizes, a therapeutic approach to education, and personalised learning plans designed to help every student reach their full potential.
We're looking for someone who is:
Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting children with special educational needs.
A strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
Flexible, resilient, and proactive in responding to individual pupil needs.
Experienced within an SEN setting (desirable but not essential).
Competitive weekly PAYE pay.
Free access to high-quality CPD and training courses.
Ongoing guidance from a dedicated education consultant.
The opportunity to secure a permanent position.
A welcoming and supportive school environment where your contribution is truly valued.
The chance to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people every day.
Inspire EHC and our partner school are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
