RWLGS - Butler FTC

The Chancery Rosewood, is redefining luxury in Mayfair, housed in the former U.S. Embassy and reimagined by Sir David Chipperfield. With 144 suites by Joseph Dirand and a collection of dynamic dining and bar spaces, it’s a place where experiences are curated, conversations flow, and every detail matters.

As a Butler (6-month Contract), you will be the trusted companion to our Suite guests — the person who knows them, anticipates them, and ensures their stay feels entirely personal from the moment they arrive. This is a role where precision meets warmth, and where intuition transforms service into something truly memorable.

Working closely with the Butler team and in partnership with colleagues across the hotel, you will be the central connection between each guest and the full Chancery Rosewood experience, delivering seamless, thoughtful, and highly personalised service at every touchpoint. If you are passionate about anticipating needs before they are expressed and creating meaningful, lasting impressions, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Build authentic, meaningful relationships with each Suite guest, developing a deep understanding of their preferences, routines, and expectations to deliver truly anticipatory service.
• Coordinate and deliver all guest requests — including luggage, laundry, amenities, and dining — with precision, efficiency, and grace.
• Provide a personalised and intuitive suite orientation, ensuring every guest feels immediately comfortable, confident, and at home.
• Collaborate seamlessly with all departments to ensure a cohesive and exceptional guest journey from arrival to departure.
• Deliver refined in-suite food and beverage service, ensuring an elevated and memorable dining experience within the privacy of the suite.
• Take ownership of guest feedback and concerns, resolving them with professionalism, care, and attention to detail.
• Maintain the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, and readiness within all suites, ensuring every environment reflects luxury at its finest.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and discretion at all times, safeguarding guest trust and personal information.

About You

• Connection — You build authentic, lasting relationships with guests and colleagues alike, possessing the rare ability to make every guest feel genuinely known and valued while fostering a spirit of trust, collaboration, and mutual respect across the entire hotel team.
• Guest-Centricity — You understand instinctively that butler coordination is about far more than logistics — it is about crafting deeply personal, memorable experiences for every guest, anticipating their needs with precision, and ensuring that every detail, however small, is executed to perfection.
• Influencing — You communicate with eloquence, confidence, and adaptability, whether conversing with a VIP guest, briefing a butler team member, or coordinating a complex multi-department request — always ensuring the right information reaches the right people at exactly the right moment.
• Integrity — You operate with the utmost discretion and professionalism at all times, handling sensitive guest information with care, taking full ownership of every commitment you make, and consistently upholding the hotel's values and standards in every interaction.
• Drive — You bring exceptional energy, dedication, and attention to detail to every shift, proactively seeking opportunities to elevate the guest experience, pursuing continuous self-development, and approaching every challenge as an opportunity to demonstrate what truly outstanding service looks like.
• Adaptability — You thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure luxury environment, remaining composed and solutions-focused when priorities shift or unexpected challenges arise, and bringing creativity and resourcefulness to every situation without ever allowing the guest to feel anything less than completely at ease.
