We are recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join a busy and collaborative customer service team in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and experience working within a fast-paced office environment.

Following completion of a successful six-month probation period, you'll benefit from a hybrid working arrangement with up to two days per week working remotely.

The Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will act as a key point of contact for customers, managing enquiries, processing orders, supporting account activity, and building strong working relationships with clients and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Responding to customer enquiries relating to orders, product information and technical specifications
• Managing customer accounts and developing strong professional relationships
• Processing and monitoring customer orders through to fulfilment
• Investigating and resolving customer queries in a timely and professional manner
• Identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and order efficiency
• Supporting sales and business development initiatives through customer engagement
• Working closely with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met
• Maintaining accurate customer records and activity using CRM and ERP systems
• Contributing to process improvement and continuous improvement projects

About You

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a Customer Service, Customer Support, Internal Sales, Account Management or Sales Support role
• Excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficient IT skills and confidence learning new systems
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Desirable

• Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, technical or industrial environment
• Experience using CRM or ERP systems such as Salesforce or SAP
• Additional European language skills would be advantageous
• Degree qualified in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline
