Care Worker - Nights at Saint Cecilia's Nursing Home

Hours: 34.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Night Shifts - 8:00pm to 7:30am

Weekend Work Expected: Every other weekend, with flexibility to cover annual leave

Rate of pay: £12.75 per hour

As a Night Care Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night. Your presence and reassurance can make a real difference during the quieter hours when compassionate care matters most.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting residents with personal care, mobility, and toileting needs during the night
Carrying out regular wellbeing and safety checks
Responding promptly to call bells and residents' requests for assistance
Providing comfort, reassurance, and emotional support to residents who may be anxious or unsettled
Working closely with nurses and senior staff to deliver high-quality person-centred care
Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or changes in residents' wellbeing
Helping to create a calm, safe, and peaceful environment throughout the night
