Customer Service Advisor

As a Customer Service Advisor in the East Midlands, you will serve as the primary contact for clients arranging international shipments. Your duties involve guiding customers through transit options via phone, email, and social media channels. Strong communication abilities are essential for building rapport and delivering clear information.

This full-time position pays £15.34 per hour. Working patterns consist of eight-hour shifts between 08:00 and 19:15, with a hybrid schedule: one week on-site, one week remote until January 2027, after which the role becomes fully office-based. Interviews occur on and , with a start date of following training.

My Client is looking for Customer Service Advisors to join their incredible team to be the first point of contact for external customers handling shipping requests. Providing information and advice on transiting goods worldwide via Phone, Email, Twitter, Facebook, Web‑Chat etc. Excellent customer service experience and skills are required for this role, establishing rapport with customers and businesses requiring support and information on how best to transit goods worldwide.

Hybrid working 1 week in the office, 1 week working from home until January 2027 then will be 100% on site. Dates to be determined after Training is completed and Manager has signed off. Job Role

• Managing Inbound calls to the business from Worldwide clients handling shipment requests
• Building rapport with customers and establishing their needs
• Deliver a consistent call flow, giving the customer the confidence in the information provided
• Maximise up selling opportunities whilst ensuring the customer has an informed choice

Key Skills

• Excellent customer service experience
• Strong understanding of customer service processes
• Consistently providing a high level of service
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal
• Ability to adapt to change
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
• Experience of working with MS Word and Excel
