About the Role
They are looking for a suitable candidate to join the Real Estate team as an Analyst in London – focusing on credit and hybrid investments across the capital structure.
Responsibilities
Assist in analysing, structuring, recommending and when approved, closing new deals, including due diligence, underwriting and legal documentation
Assume primary role in financial modelling of transactions with assistance from deal lead
Assist with preparation of IC papers for submission to senior investment staff
Work with 3rd party managers in the evaluation of eligible transactions
Provide assistance to senior team members in business development, relationship management and manager performance monitoring
Provide assistance with the asset management and performance monitoring of existing loan positions and ensure timely and accurate reporting is submitted to control functions and senior management
Qualifications
Strong academic background, with a degree in finance, accounting, banking or a related discipline
1–3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within real estate debt financing, real estate debt capital markets, structured finance, or real estate-focused banking/advisory
Solid understanding of real estate financial structures and capital stacks, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely
Strong financial modelling skills with high attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Bloomberg is advantageous
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external stakeholders
Analytical, results-oriented and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple workstreams and deadlines
