Analyst/Associate, Real Estate Debt

Overview

In this role, you will support the Real Estate team in London by analysing and structuring credit and hybrid investments across the capital stack. You’ll model cash flows, assess transaction viability, and prepare materials for senior investment committees. You will collaborate with third-party managers and contribute to business development and performance monitoring. This is a fast-paced, cross-border role at a leading global investor where you help drive disciplined real estate financing and asset outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, structure, and assist in closing new deals, including due diligence, underwriting, and documentation
• Lead financial modelling of transactions with guidance from the deal lead
• Prepare Investment Committee papers for senior investment staff
• Engage with third-party managers to evaluate eligible transactions
• Support senior team in business development, relationship management, and manager performance monitoring
• Assist with asset management and performance monitoring of existing loan positions and ensure timely reporting

Key requirements

• University degree in finance, accounting, banking or STEM (preferred)
• Relevant experience in real estate debt financing, debt capital markets, structured finance or corporate banking
• Strong financial modelling skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to present complex concepts clearly and concisely
• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel); Bloomberg knowledge desirable
• Analytical mindset and a collaborative, team-oriented work style
• Results-oriented with ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
