Commis Chef

Welcome to The Beefy Boys, the burger empire of your dreams – where the patties are juicy, the buns are fresh. We’re a fast-paced, rapidly growing burger joint on a mission to become the greatest burger restaurant in the entire galaxy.

We’ve spent years delving deep into the world of burgers – For us, there’s no such thing as a “just a cheeseburger.” Oh no, we’re talking about a universe of patties: from thick, juicy 6oz steakhouse delights to crispy diner-style smashburgers, and even the oh-so-filthy Oklahoma-style patties that’ll have you questioning your entire existence.

Now, we’re on the hunt for a Commis Chef who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, learn from the best, and get stuck into the exciting world of burger-making. If you’re passionate about food, eager to develop your skills, and looking for the perfect place to kickstart your kitchen career, then we want YOU! You’ll support the kitchen team, learn new techniques, and help create some seriously epic burgers – all while having fun and growing along the way.

What You’ll Need:

• Team Player: You’ll work alongside the Head Chef, Sous Chefs, and the rest of the kitchen crew to keep everything running smoothly. Whether it’s prepping ingredients, assisting with cooking, or making sure your station is clean, you’ll be an important part of the team.
• Eagerness to Learn: This is a great place to start your kitchen career! You’ll be ready to pick up new skills, learn how to perfect each dish, and get hands‑on in the kitchen, all while working alongside experienced chefs.
• Passion for Food: You’ll help create amazing burgers and take pride in making sure everything is cooked and assembled just right. You’re committed to quality and always aim to deliver great food.
• Attention to Detail: Whether you’re following recipes, managing cooking times, or making sure everything is prepped correctly, you’ll help ensure that every plate that leaves your station is perfect.
• Ingredient Knowledge: You’ll assist with managing ingredients and making sure everything you need is stocked and ready to go. You’ll learn the ins and outs of ingredient handling and help keep the kitchen organized.
• Get It Done Attitude: It’s a busy, fast‑paced kitchen, and you’ll need to keep your cool when things heat up. If you’re someone who thrives under pressure and is excited to grow in a kitchen environment, we want you on our team!

What You’ll Get:

• Tronc Share: Boost your paycheck with an equal share of tronc – aka the magical money pot! More tips, more wins!
• Free Food: Did someone say FREE BURGERS? Yep, you get to stuff your face with our delicious creations every shift.
• Career Growth: The sky’s the limit! We’ve got tons of opportunities for you to climb that ladder and become the burger mogul you were always meant to be.
• Discounted Dinner: Impress your mates with a meal out and enjoy discounts while you’re at it! Good food, great company, and even better savings.
• Annual Staff Summer Festival: Ready to party? Our epic staff summer festival is your chance to let loose, dance, and make unforgettable memories.
• Away Days Full of Fun: Join us for staff away days packed with fun activities that are all about team bonding, adventure, and having a blast outside of work.
• 28 Days Paid Holiday: Need a break? Take 28 days off (because even burger‑flippers deserve to rest and recharge)!
• Company Pension: Chill out about your future while we make sure your retirement's looking pretty sweet.
