Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Accounts Assistant to join their stable and friendly team in Doncaster.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in accounts. Previous accounts experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, be willing to learn and work well as part of a team.
The position has become available due to the retirement of a long-standing member of the team, highlighting the stability and supportive environment within the business.
Duties include
Prepare delivery notes, scan and complete invoicing process daily.
Process credit notes.
Prepare weekly payment run.
Prepare payment reports.
Cover general admin/accounts duties when required- credit limits, customer/sales team accounts queries.
Update Sage accounts packages daily.
Prepare supplier payments.
Complete cash book weekly.
Analyse and update sales information.
Reconcile bank accounts and sage accounts monthly.
Create recharge invoices for Inter-company transactions.
