Contract Databricks Engineer-Outside IR35 9/12 months-2/3 days on site in Manchester
We're looking for an experienced Databricks Data Engineer to join a fast-paced data team on an initial contract basis.
You'll play a key role in developing and improving data solutions within Databricks , helping deliver reliable, high-quality data across the organisation.
What you'll be doing
Build, develop and optimise data pipelines within Databricks.
Ingest and transform data from multiple sources.
Develop and maintain scalable data models and ETL/ELT processes.
Improve data quality, performance and reliability.
Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Troubleshoot existing pipelines and identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with data, technology and business teams to deliver projects.
What we're looking for
Strong hands-on Databricks experience.
Excellent SQL and Python skills.
Solid data engineering and data warehousing experience.
Experience working with cloud data platforms.
A proactive, delivery-focused approach and the ability to hit the ground running.
