On behalf of our client, a leading Fresh Food Manufacturing business based in Worcestershire, we are seeking an outgoing and proactive Junior IT Support Engineer to join their dynamic on-site team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a customer-focused IT professional to gain hands-on experience across both 1st and 2nd line support, working closely alongside the IT Infrastructure Manager in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As the primary point of contact for day-to-day technical support across the business, you will play a crucial role in keeping both office and operational manufacturing teams running smoothly.
1st & 2nd Line User Support: Handling everyday technical queries across the whole company—from resolving printer glitches and network connectivity issues to troubleshooting Microsoft 365 and hardware problems.
User Onboarding & Setup: Setting up and configuring laptops, PCs, mobile devices, and IT equipment, as well as creating user accounts, managing access, and handling password resets for new starters.
Systems & Equipment Maintenance: Assisting with software updates, system patching, IT security tasks, and maintaining accurate IT asset records.
Infrastructure & Project Support: Escalating complex technical issues where necessary and assisting the IT Infrastructure Manager with broader IT maintenance, documentation, and key projects.
