Learning & Development Officer - Belfast

Are you an experienced Learning & Development professional looking for your next opportunity within a busy and growing organisation?

I'm currently recruiting for a Learning & Development Officer to join a well-established, forward-thinking organisation in Belfast, supporting learning and development across a large workforce.

The Role

Working as part of a dedicated team, you'll play a key role in managing training compliance, maintaining learning systems and supporting the development of online and professional learning programmes.

The key responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining the virtual learning environment & LMS
• Creating and updating e-learning courses and modules
• Troubleshooting issues with the learning platform
• Monitoring training compliance and producing reports
• Coordinating mandatory training schedules
• Supporting the design and implementation of professional development programmes
• Liaising with managers, internal teams and external training providers
• Coordinating face-to-face and online training
• Supporting compliance reporting and training administration
• Building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

The ideal candidate

• CIPD L&D or relevant qualification
• Previous experience in a Learning & Development focused role
• Experience within training, education or a similar environment
• Experience using an online learning platform/ Learning Management System
• Experience developing e-learning content
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders
• A proactive, flexible and problem-solving approach
