Founding Infrastructure Engineer

Founding Infrastructure Engineer

At Solve Intelligence , we’re building the AI-powered infrastructure for the global Intellectual Property landscape. We need a brilliant Infrastructure Engineer to build the secure, scalable engine that makes it all possible.

️ The Role: Founding Infrastructure Engineer

You’ll be joining the leanest, most talent-dense engineering team in London. You aren't just managing servers; you are designing the multi-region, high-throughput systems that handle complex AI workloads.

What You’ll Own

• Cloud Architecture: Design and maintain our AWS environment using Terraform, optimizing for reliability, cost-efficiency, and massive scale.
• Global Footprint: Build infrastructure patterns for multi-region deployment and fully isolated single-tenant environments for enterprise customers.
• Developer Velocity: Architect CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Docker) that allow our team to ship safely and quickly.
• Observability & Reliability: Instrument the stack with OpenTelemetry and Datadog to ensure we detect issues before our users do.
• AI Performance Tuning: Tune autoscaling and network routing to handle resource-intensive LLM workloads with ultra-low latency.

Who You Are

• Speed & Safety: You believe that great infrastructure is what allows application engineers to move faster.
• Extreme Ownership: You strive for excellence in every configuration and take pride in "five nines" reliability.
• Driven & Humble: You are willing to go the extra mile (including the occasional late night or weekend) to ensure our systems are bulletproof.

Must-Haves

• 5+ Years Experience: Owning and scaling cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• IaC Expert: Professional mastery of Terraform or similar.
• CI/CD Veteran: Proven track record of building deployment pipelines that don't break.
• Security First: Deep understanding of IAM, cloud networking, and security best practices.

Preferred & Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with ECS, container orchestration, and distributed task queues (Celery/SQS).
• Familiarity with the Datadog/Grafana observability stack.
• A background in offensive security, CTFs, or AI/ML infrastructure.

What We Offer

• Competitive Salary + Significant Equity: We want you to have true ownership in the success of the company.
• Founding Impact: You will have a direct hand in every architectural decision we make.
• Support: Full visa sponsorship and private medical insurance.
• The Environment: Free meals and a seat at the table with an incredibly smart, ambitious team.
