Our client, a top UK housing association, is looking for several Software Engineers to play a key role in delivering modern, customer-focused technology that supports thousands of their residents and colleagues.
Software Engineer
Contract: Fixed Term Contract
Location: Hybrid (1-2 days)
What you’ll do
Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, Solution Architects and engineering colleagues to analyse, estimate and deliver user stories
Develop secure, scalable software solutions using Microsoft technologies
Ensure delivery aligns with architecture standards and business requirements
Provide timely support for critical production issues when needed
Contribute to agile ceremonies, team performance, and continuous improvement
Maintain high standards of software documentation and code governance
Identify risks and elevate issues that may affect delivery or availability
What they’re looking for
Experience delivering modern software solutions in an agile environment
Strong development skills in technologies such as:
Sitecore, BI & Data tools (e.g., Power BI, DAX)
Understanding of cloud and DevOps practices — CI/CD, automation, containers, PaaS/IaaS/SaaS
Strong grasp of SDLC and engineering practices — TDD essential; Selenium/Spec Flow desirable
A collaborative mindset with ownership, energy, and a drive to achieve outcomes
