The Role

RMErecruit is exclusively partnering with a premier SME in Belfast to recruit an experienced Management Accountant. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working closely with Directors and who thrives in a collaborative, positive team environment.

There is a great Finance team in this business who are welcoming and hardworking.

Key Responsibilities

• Management Accounts:Full production of monthly management accounts with commercial analysis.
• Strategic Support:Working with Directors to provide insights for business growth and decision-making.
• Process Improvement:Evaluating and improving financial systems and internal controls.
• Financial Planning:Managing the annual budget and maintaining regular cash flow forecasts.
• Team Collaboration: Contributing to a high-performing team and supporting the wider business function.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience:Significant experience as a Management Accountant within anSMEsetting.
• Skills:Strong ability to improve systems and processes; advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Communication:Capable of communicating financial performance clearly to the Board of Directors.
• Qualification: ACCA, CIMA, ACA Qualified or Finalist.
