Company Accountant

Were working with an established, family-owned business in the automotive industry that is looking for a Company Accountant / Part-Qualified Accountant to join its Belfast team.

This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, relaxed working environment where youll work closely with the directors, take ownership of key financial processes and contribute to the wider running of the business.

Whats on Offer?

• £40,000 to £45,000 salary

About You

Were looking for someone with strong technical accounting skills, a proactive mindset and the confidence to work independently. Ideally, youll have experience in:

• Management accounts and financial reporting
• Cash flow forecasting
• Oversight of transactional finance
• Intercompany accounting and recharges
• Reporting financial performance to directors
• Supporting junior team members where required

About Your New Role

Always:

• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Monitor financial performance and cash flow.
• Oversee day-to-day transactional finance.

Often:

• Provide directors with regular financial updates.
• Manage intercompany charges and reconciliations.
• Investigate variances and support financial planning.

Occasionally:

• Assist with year-end accounts and external accountants.
• Support junior colleagues and improve financial processes.

Never:

• Feel unsupported
• Compete with your boss in a staring competition
